Farming roots run deep in the Moore family. Roger Moore began farming with his father George as soon as he was old enough to sit behind the wheel of a tractor.
Roger was raised on his families farm in Rogers County and Renita (Ramsey) Moore was raised on her families farm in Mayes County.
The Moore family stays busy operating their 1,000 acre farm consisting of crops: Corn, Milo, Soybeans, Wheat, Oats, Alfalfa, Bermuda and Prairie Hay. 250 Head of Angus and Crossbred Cattle take up any time left over.
Daniel Moore is the third generation who is now managing and operating the Moore Farms Dozer Construction Business that his Grandfather George started in 1960. He started his herd of 50 Registered Angus cows from heifers he raised in his show days.
